| What's involved? Each meeting starts with a meal. Then there is a talk via DVD followed by a time of discussion which provides an opportunity to chat and ask questions for those who want to. Those who don't want to dash off usually then have another drink and stay for more chat! There is no charge for Alpha although contributions towards food and expenses are accepted. Also the course is entirely voluntary so there is no compulsion to stay on once it has started. The Alpha Supper: This is for anyone interested in the adult course and will include an after-dinner speech introducing Alpha after a multiple course meal. There is no compulsion to join the course if you attend this but we do ask that you book in advance for the meal. If you don't fancy coming along on your own, feel free to bring a friend!
