What unspoken criteria does society use to determine whether someone is included in its crowds, in its places of work or study and in its clubs? And what message is this giving to your young people? What do our young people feel the need to live up to?
Inclusion (formerly called ‘@7’) provides an environment where young people can be themselves and be included not because of what they look like, how they dress, what they have or what they can do, but because of who they are in God’s eyes. God is interested in the ‘real them’- that’s the person He created -and Inclusion is a place where this can be expressed and nurtured. It’s a place where relationship is real and not virtual, where friendship is formed and where the fun is good and clean.
At Holy Trinity we believe in getting real with our young people- in a world that will tell you what you want to hear for its own gain, Inclusion is a place where young people can get realigned with the truth about themselves and find acceptance.
