Community Outreach
It is at the heart of the mission of Holy Trinity to reach out into every possible area of the local community of Aldershot which we love and serve.
Schools work - There are groups and individuals in most of the primary schools of the town bringing termly assemblies, afterschool clubs and chaplaincy.*
We pioneered, host and oversee Aldershot Community Chaplaincy (established in 2019), working with the Health Centre, GPs and Social Prescribers and with the aim of starting services to all local older people’s homes in the coming years.*
The Town Centre Pastoral Team was similarly founded at Holy Trinity in 2008, reaching out on the streets of Aldershot, whether that be the weekend nightlife or a table ministry and presence on Thursdays in the daytime.*
Wellspring, a team dedicated to reaching out to the new Wellesley area of Aldershot is overseen by Holy Trinity.*
We host the annual Aldershot Town Football Club carol service and provide some of the chaplaincy service to the club.
We are supporters of The Source Young People’s Charity in Aldershot.
We have close links with and host the main Nepalese church in Aldershot (Nepali Christian Church Aldershot) and have occasional joint services and outreaches.
